Bio
Having taken root in Norwich, UK (England's national greyscale) as the repressed narratives and fiery musings of Patrick Geraghty, Role Mach erupted into a horn-teeming garage rock show band in Vancouver, BC around 2008.
Over its course the band has sported between five and fifteen concurrent members (currently: seven), toured internationally, headlined countless local shows, participated in a number of festivals (including Alberta's Sled Island and Wyrd Fest in 2011) and seen tracks released on a number of fine Canadian labels (including Vancouver's Mint Records and Geographing, and Lethbridge's Mammoth Cave).
The band's range is diverse, with lyrical songs highly indebted to the most cowardly archetypes in rock'n'roll (like Lou Reed at his most pathetic), and a massive sound drawing equally from Morricone soundtracks and Algerian proto-rai.
In the summer of 2012, the band will finally see the release of two long awaited vinyl EPs (currently in the final stages of production), as well as a full length LP due by the end of the year, with a North American tour to coincide.
