Rococo Revival Parlor are interested in musical extremities and employ a distinctive and dynamic rhythm section against brash guitar noise and feedback, as well as melodic passages and vocal lines. The lyrics read like language poems, and simultaneously appear sincere and ironic. The songs shift and swirl through funk, surf, shoegaze, punk and post-punk influences, supplementing conventional pop structures with relentless and unapologetic organic experimentation.
