Bio
Ro Mahdi formerly known as Ro Kenady, was born in Detroit and raised on the west side off 8 mile road. As a youth, he studied great leaders and admired the career of Ronald Reagan. While in high school, he decided to pursue an acting career and then go into politics. He received high praise for his role as Alan in the play "Equus" and frequented the Detroit Repertory Theatre. During this time he added rapping to that plan and decided to take it seriously as he progressed. He released his first independent solo album “What Are You Saying with the bulk of production by fellow Detroiter and G-Unit producer, Nick Speed. After completion of the album at the age of 22, he dropped out of school to pursue a deal in Los Angeles. While in Los Angeles, he was able to meet the best west coast rapper in the game, Crooked I. After hearing his work, Crooked brought him into the COB camp. Ro Mahdi most recently co-starred in the film the Amateur alongside jerry burns. His promo CD "The Grind Network" available via Datpiff.com. More information can be found on website RoMahdi.com. The Killa Nature EP with production from detroit producers smitty soul (hov lane/nicki minaj) and Tycoon (KD) is slated for a 4th qtr release 2014.
