Bio
After forming in 2010, Joysticks & Quarter Slots quickly realized that the coming together of four minds with similarly eclectic influences and nerdy dispositions would lead to the inception of a sound that is uniquely, and curiously, their own. Taking an "anything goes" approach to song writing, the band has concocted a body of original music that will invade your brain and make itself a permanent resident.
Longtime friends and musical collaborators Krystal Ramos and Ricardo Lucdor set the ground work for the band in early 2009, writing the foundation to a number of their now completed songs. Krystal soon met ex-Aghora drummer Richard Komatz who was managing a local band at the time and recruited him to fill in for a few local shows. After only a few rehearsals together it became clear it was a perfect match for them all.
Joysticks & Quarter Slots then spent the next two years writing and recording their debut self-titled EP, which is slated for release in early 2013.
