Rio just released my debut mix tape entitled 'Postcard' on April 21st, 2013. It is currently posted on websites/radiostations such as HotNewHipHop.com, Last.fm, Soundcloud and Bandcamp. Rio has had 3 radio interview with some radio stations that stream online, namely Blog Talk Radio, whom have played a few of his singles of his debut project. His Soundcloud account also has a few individual singles which he had released separate from my project. Rio also recently released his debut music video for one of his songs of of his mix tape entitled 'Classy' that can be found on Youtube.

Bio
Rio is a 21 year old Latino artist from the birthplace of Hip Hop (Bronx, New York). He has an old school flow that others tell me is reminiscent of a Slim Shady or Nas. Rio speaks about daily struggles, his own personal life and situations that can be empathized among many. Rio's rhyming style ranges from quick and multi-syllabic to a smooth, storytelling cadence. Rio has been writing for about 2 years now and all of his "experience" stemmed from his love for poetry all of his life. Rio thinks in melodies and speaks in musical notes. In Rio's opinion, The Bronx has not had as big of a representation in today's generation in comparison to Harlem and Brooklyn, so he's here to bring something fresh and new to the table for the genre/culture that he love so much.
