Riley O'Donnell

Riley has been playing guitar for 7 years and performing for nearly as long with various different acts including Credit Valley, The Hurricanes, and Kevin & Riley. Over this time he has always strived to find new ways to stand out as a musician, and in 2012 started promoting himself as an acoustic solo artist. His influences can be heard evidently in the indie-folk genre, however can stretch to post-rock, blues and even elements of jazz. This combined with his use of various effects pedals and intricate layering of guitar parts with a loop pedal make for his unique sound and live performance which can’t quite be found in any other acoustic performer. Riley’s act consists putting his own sound on covers from modern artists such as City and Colour, Mumford and Sons, Fleet Foxes and Bon Iver, however he is currently writing original material, in hopes to record and release an EP this fall. With this as well as the several festival performances he has under his belt (Rock The Mill, Cambridge MCA, etc.), Riley O'Donnell is sure to increase the already notable impact he has made on the local music scene.
