Reel A Peel

Reel A Peel is a 6 piece ska band from a dead and decaying town in the heart of America's rust-belt, New Castle, PA. The members have come from other ska bands, jazz/swing/soul/funk bands, punks bands, and whatever kind of bands our drummer was in before he appeared randomly last year. We practice twice a week and try to play at least one show per weekend. We are very dedicated to having fun with our music. We are surprisingly good, and that is the biggest pat on the back I will give us. Reel A Peel has won several battle of the bands, including the West Virginia Mountaineer Casino 2010 Battle Of The Bands. What does set us apart from the other bands...? Well, we are a ska band from western Pennsylvania and none of us own ironically tight pants. As for what sets us apart in our genre, probably our songwriting and the manner in which our horn section is applied to the music. We just want to tour around the world, well, let's say the US first, and have someone make sure we don't starve or die in a cold gutter somewhere while doing it. My father suggested once that I call the MTV and alert them that we were a band an are now ready to be successful and make money. I haven't found their number yet...
