Red Sea Radio formed in 2004 as a recording project, featuring Jackieraye on vocals, and J writing and recording the music. Then, after recording "Old Toys" in 2007 the duo decided to branch out as a live act. The track "I'm Still Breathing" has been remixed by Lol Tolhurst, former member of the Cure, current member of Levinhurst.
While Red Sea Radio may be new to you, the members of RSR have been in the central PA music scene for sometime; singer Jackieraye was in the hardrock band 'Screamapillar', guitarist Adam Barr performed as a bass player for 'Koji on the Roof', synthesizer and keys player Al Baldassarre also plays for 'In Wilderness', and drummer Chad Salvaggio has drummed for numerous groups including 'Stranges of Places'.
Innovative and ambient, this female fronted alternative group of musicians bring a dark, moody energy to any venue.
