SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio’s very own Diego and Emilio Navaira Jr, the sons of Tejano music legend Emilio Navaira, are ready to bring their new music and sound to the Alamo City.
The duo is set to perform their long-awaited rock album with their band “Ready Revolution.”
The band is made up of the Navairas and life-long friends and South Texas natives Matt Zavala, Shane Gamboa and Kevin Diaz de Leon. This is the band’s first release since 2015 and was years in the making.
The album is titled “Let it Out” and that’s exactly what Emilio and Diego wanted to do with these songs. Fans can expect a high-energy show. - KSAT12

Fans of singer-guitarist Diego Navaira of the indie rock band Ready Revolution were likely disappointed that his audition for NBC’s “The Voice” didn’t air this week. There are three more chances.
The singer, who auditioned this summer in Los Angeles for the hit show, will appear either on Sept. 30, Oct. 1 or Oct. 7. “The Voice” airs at 8 p.m.
His older brother, Emilio Navaira IV, tweeted on Monday: “Guess we are gonna have to keep tuning in to catch.” On Tuesday, Diego tweeted: “Not tonight. Tune in next week.”
Navaira, is the son of Tejano star Emilio Navaira. Though the result is known only to show insiders, and Navaira is precluded from commenting at this point about whether judges turned their seats in approval, friends and family in attendance said that he impressed the judges with a rendition of a rowdy, ‘80s rock anthem. Diego Navaira performs at the Davenport Lounge, 203 N. Presa Street, on Wednesday (Sept. 25) from 9:30 p.m.-1 a.m.
Here’s how to audition next time.

The Canvas Waiting and Ready Revolution played a show at Jack’s Bar on April 16, 2011. I’ll start by telling you that the sound system in Jack’s Bar is terrible. It’s a little difficult to judge a band by the sound in there because everything sounds so tinny. The first band, Ready Revolution was very radio ready, reminiscent of Kris Allen with a heavier rock sound. They had a lot of energy, and even placated the audience with a cover of Katy Perry’s “Hot & Cold” to peak the interest of those unfamiliar with the band. The cover was entertaining, but they would have done well to rearrange the song to make it more interesting than the bland original. There’s a lot of potential in that song I think this band could easily reveal. This band’s music is meant for cruising down the street on a sunny summer’s day; perfect timing, their EP comes out soon! - Aural Interaction
“The Northside music venue was packed, setting a club record for both attendance and bar receipts. The full house was evidence that despite their Nashville base, San Antonio remains the brothers' second home and a primary market for their music.”
“By the time Ready Revolution took the stage with opener "Love Disaster," the place was so packed that attendees on the side of the stage couldn't squeeze their way to the bar. Diego owned the frontman role, his gaze, his movements, his hand gestures all making the band seem larger than life, as if it could pull off the same commanding show from a coliseum stage.
Ready Rev plays driving alt-rock in the vein of Foo Fighters or Paramore. It's an arena-sized sound with big guitars and bigger hooks.” - San Antonio Current

Bio
Ready Revolution is a young Pop Rock band from San Antonio TX, made up of Diego Navaira, Emilio Navaira, Matt Zavala, Shane Gamboa, and Kevin Diaz De Leon. Lead singer Diego has had his share of TV appearances on a national level including his Live Audition on season 5 of NBC's The Voice. Judges Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera, Ceelo Green, and Blake Shelton had nothing but praise and adoration when asked about his performance and voice, and even asked him to return for season 6. But Navaira had other endevours as Ready Revolution was also receiving some national attention for honoring the San Antonio Spurs, playing at their 2014 Championship Parade, and are now featured in the 2014 NBA Championship DVD. But it doesn't stop there. The band has toured hard for a year and a half with stops at Six Flags Dallas, House of Blues, and the most recently the Texas State Fair with Emblem 3 (Dallas), Buzzbomb (Chicago), Arleen's Grocery (New York, NY), and the Hit Factory Gibson Show Room (New York, NY). With two records under their belt within a year span (and a new one on the way), these kids are hungry and have a work ethic rare for a band their age. Their first effort (the Summer EP) was #1 on the reverb nation local pop charts. Song writers and producers Emilio and Diego Navaira trained with Grammy winning producer Michael Morales, and have worked as studio musicians for years. The core of the band has been playing together in various bands and have repeatedly played the Texas State Fair (Dallas), and Fan Fair (Nashville). Gibson guitars endorse Ready Revolution, and as part of former band (Von Army), were the youngest artists to ever be endorsed by the company.
