Eddy Mac

Eddy is a self taught singer/songwriter who began his journey in southern California. "I was given a little 3/4 size

Yamaha acoustic guitar by my older brother, when he was home on leave from the Coast Guard" , and all he said to me was

"just don't stop, that's all I ask". Well, at the time I was playing a japanese garage sale" Gibson 335" copy with a

warped neck and three strings on it, so I said Thanks, instead of "oh you shouldn't have,and took that guitar with me

every day to music class (eleventh grade composition) where I cut a deal with my teacher that, if I would transpose

one of my creations into sheet music by the time finals rolled around ( I hated math, and music to me was about sound

and emotion) he would allow me to continue to sit on the lunch area benches outside the classroom," across from the

girls gym", and work on my music, instead of sitting in the classroom learning how to transpose my ideas into symbols

on a page. That would come back to bite me later.

Fast forward to 1992... I moved from So. Cal. to the Napa Valley where I began playing my music at different

venues,such as Downtown Joe's, in Napa,and the Sweetwater Saloon, in Mill Valley. Recording at Laughing Tiger studios

in San Rafael, with the help of such talented musicians as, Austin DeLone,keys, (Elvis Costello), Jimmy Sage,drums,

(Lee Rocker), Rob Fordyce,bass, (Tom Finch band, The Ring ), Jef Madnick,Guitar, (Napa City Nights) and, Ari Rios

(Vocals, Percussion) Producer, engineer, Laughing Tiger Studios.
