LOS ANGELES, CA – June 29, 2012
Daisy Rock Girl Guitars, the original girl guitar company, welcomes to its artist roster Rachel and Rebekah, a sister duo that explodes with a rock and pop sound for the masses.
It was back in kindergarten when Rachel and Rebekah first sang in front of an audience at their school plays. They soon sought out other places to sing and share their talent, including festivals, schools, theme parks, and sporting events. They also formed part in Christ Chapel’s music ministry in Madison, CT, with their youth pastor and Nashville Christian recording artist, Ryan Baker
In 2007 Rachel and Rebekah moved to Nashville with their family to further their musical journey. The girls started taking vocal lessons from the famed Music Row’s Buzzy Orange Studio, whose students include Faith Hill, Amy Grant and Carrie Underwood. In 2010, they had an opportunity to be extras in a Christian TV Show called Ishine Knect where they met producer Kevan Cyka, who later produced their debut album Lovin’ Me Blind, released in 2011. Dan Needham – music engineer, drummer, and session player for the artists like Michael W. Smith, CeCe Winans, and Chris Tomlin – collaborated with Kevan Cyka and brilliantly created the girls sound which is considered the “Katy Perry” and “Ke$ha” of Christian teen music.

Rachel & Rebekah
The sister duo, “Rachel and Rebekah” released their debut album “Lovin’ Me Blind”. Produced by Kevan Cyka & Dan Needham who have produced number 1 songs with Rebecca St James, Jump 5 and Caleb Rowden. Rachel & Rebekah explode with a blend that is Rebekah the rocker and Rachel the pop singer. Rachel and Rebekah want to be used by God to inspire teens to follow God’s plan for their life. At 14 and 16 they continue on the path that the Lord has made for them. Starting in kindergarden Rachel and Rebekah had their first lead singing role in their kindergarden play’s. The sisters started doing plays and putting on shows for all the family at every family event. They sought out places to sing including festivals, schools, theme parks, athletic games, etc…
Growing up they attended Christian Community Church in Derby, CT and Faith church in New Milford, CT where they were involved in their music ministry as well as Rachel and Rebekah were both saved in elementary school and proudly wear their promise rings and are not afraid to speak out about their love for Christ and Christ’s love for us. The girls were on their way to following God's path and be a part of the pages of life God had set for them.
In 2007, Rachel and Rebekah’s, father and mother felt God calling them to Nashville to pursue their music career. They left all their family and friends, which, was a very hard decision, but with alot of prayer they knew this was God’s plan and they needed to be obedient. After arriving in Nashville the family settled in and began their journey.
Rachel and Rebekah started taking vocal lessons from Music Rows Buzzy Orange, whose students include Faith Hill, Amy Grant and Carrie Underwood. Rachel and Rebekah had been singing in their fathers home studio since they were young. Now they were now ready to get a taste of a Nashville recording studio.
They have always been involved in school plays and chorus and 2010 had an opportunity to be extra's in a Christian TV Show called “Ishine Knect” where they met producer Kevan Cyka. In 2011 they set out to record a 10 song CD including the 5 karaoke tracks. Dan Needham, a musical engineer and a drummer, session player, for the artists like Michael W. Smith, C.C. Wynans and Chris Tomlin collaborated with Kevan Cyka and brilliantly created the girls christian/pop sound.
The Title of the CD “Lovin’ Me Blind” is about the Everlasting love that God has for us and He will always be there for us, he is loving us no matter what. Jesus’s blood covers our sin so God is Loving you blind. That is followed up by the second track ''Get Me''. If you seek God with all your heart you will find Him so God says if you L. O. V. E. me, come and get me. That sums up Rachel and Rebekah’s life message - God Loves you, wants you to seek him and you will truly live the amazing life God has called you to.
