Rachael Schroeder

Rachael is a twelve year old who loves music. She started voice when she was six, moved onto a vocal coach and started writing her own songs when she was nine.

Her songs catch you off guard, you don't expect those kind of lyrics or that kind of emotion coming from someone so young.

Whether it is her own songs, or covers, Rachael lives and breathes music. Influenced by a broad range of music from Queen to The Beatles, from Beethoven to Adam Lambert, Rachael is almost always humming or singing.

Often when she is writing a song, she will go into her room for a few hours, and the song will emerge from her mind fully formed: verses, chorus, bridge - all charted and ready to be worked on with her vocal coach, Brian Farrell (www.brianfarrell.ca). Brian describes Rachael as "a wise soul living as a 12 year old girl. She writes and sings with the honesty of youth - she wears her music close to her heart.
