Mr. Smooth and Bran Deezy (both 19) are looking to be the Deion Sanders of hip-hop as the young duo known as Primetime. Providing a great deal of chemistry on their tracks, Smooth and Deezy continue to progress as artists as they continue to progress as individuals. With both currently attending college and pursuing music, clearly they write about what they have their eyes set on. On "Make It Look Easy", the duo displays this easy going outlook and the success that they believe that will come with it.

“PRIMETIME”
Hip-Hop Group Biography
PRIMETIME is a dynamic duo of two young Hip-Hop artists that are bringing a new and much-needed voice to the Hip-Hop community. This innovative group is taking the music industry by storm with infectious music paired with family-friendly lyrics that are broader than the often highlighted topics of drugs, guns, and violence. The face of Hip-Hop is changing and PRIMETIME is here at the right time!
The group has been in-the-making for more than three years while both boys were still in high school. Since graduating high school and now both young men attending college, they have taken their talents to a new level and started recording professionally since 2008. The group’s first single is called “Make It Look Easy” and was inspired by America’s first African American President, Barack Obama. The song represents positive achievement on any level, whether from the smallest to the highest, all while making it look easy and projecting confidence.
Malcolm Hawkins is 19 years old and was born and raised in the Lithonia/Stone Mountain area of Georgia. He is a graduate of Stephenson High School and is currently a college freshman at Valdosta State University. Malcolm is not only pursuing his talents as a writer and lyricist; he is also passionate about acting. His stage name is “Mr. Smooth” and he brings all his artistic abilities as well as his business sense to the group.
Brandon Bell, who is also 19 years old, was born in San Francisco, California, and raised in the Lithonia/Stone Mountain area of Georgia. He is a graduate of Dunwoody High School and is currently attending DeVry University. Brandon loves to write and has been writing for other artists since his high school days. He is also a talented lyricist and overall entertainer. His stage name is “Bran Deezy” and he brings a laid-back California vibe with a southern twist to the group.
