Bio
Zac DeFosses, AKA: Plan Z is a New Hampshire native raised in Franklin. At the age of three he began playing piano. It was not until the age of eight, Zac attended piano lessons with a certified instructor. His older brother introduced him to music by Eric Clapton, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin and Queen. Instantly, he dreamed of being in a band. The piano lessons stopped and his first band "Fusion" started in 2001 when he was a senior in High School. Short-lived, Zac left the band to attend College at Franklin Pierce in Rindge, New Hampshire after graduating High School. He pursued Music Education & Professional Performance for 2 semesters. Within the music program Zac met other musicians that shared the same desires of being in a band, but no one had the same dedication. In 2002 Zac left college and joined the pre-established band, "Side One" (Rock/Rap/Hip-Hop). The group toured New Hampshire, then New York winning several Battle of The Bands. It was the summer of 2008, when their drummer tore his ACL & Meniscus playing hockey. The knee injury devastated Side One and they quickly dismantled. Since 2009 Zac has been working on his Music Catalog and registering his works with BMI as a songwriter. He is in a serious relationship and has one daughter and son. Many of his creations are inspired by family, friends and life in general. His influences are John Lennon, Eric Clapton, Billy Joel, Elton John, Queen, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, One Republic, Kings of Leon, Mumford and Sons, Adele, Dispatch, State Radio, Sublime and Linkin Park. Currently, Zac AKA: Plan Z is tackling any & all opportunities that arise.
