Pineapple Jam is a Boston-based bluesy, funky, jazzy rock band. Pineapple Jam consists of lead singer/drummer Tom Burke, guitarist/singer Steve Baldrate, guitarist Mike Powell, and bassist Kyle LeBlanc. Formed in 2013, Pineapple has been playing around the Boston and greater Boston area since 2014. With influences such as Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Red Hot Chili Peppers, John Mayer, and Jimi Hendrix, Pineapple Jam has been able to create around 30 original songs as well as knowing around 30 cover songs.
Pineapple Jam's guitarists Steve and Mike have impressive sets of pedals that help give the band a wide array of effects and tones and a distinct sound. Both Steve and Mike are very talented at soloing and many of their songs feature amazing solos. Pineapple Jam also uses a lot of harmonies in their songs. With Kyle laying down funky bass lines and Tom playing the drums and singing, they always put on a memorable show for their audience.
Pineapple Jam finished up their first studio album titled Best Served On Toast. This album will has 10 tracks in total. Pineapple Jam is now working on self-recording the rest of their songs and releasing as soon as their done. They also play out in the Boston and Greater Boston area around once or twice a month.
