Dezzy Yates the Phreshbot

Dezmund 'Dezzy' Yates also known as the 'Phreshbot' was born September 27th 1991 in Fort Brenning, GA. The majority of his youth however, was spent in Columbus, GA, where at the age of 8 Dezzy began to sing and write music.
By the time of middle school Dezzy had already become well interested in dance, music & poetry. It was the suggestion of an english teacher that inspired Dezzy to begin taking his talents more seriously.

Some of Dezzy Yates' largest inspirations and musical influences are artists such as Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco & Kid Cudi.
In 2010 Dezzy auditioned for the seventh season of Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance" in Nashville, TN. On the second day of trials he was eliminated ending his shot to move on to preliminary stage.

That year he was also accepted into the American Musical and Dramatic Academy; however financially would prove unable to afford tuition. This determined and resilient young man would have to find another way. Living on a budget tighter than most made pursuing dreams that much more difficult. These living conditions forced Dezzy to try alternative options by moving cross-country to Spanaway, WA with his father.

This new environment increased Dezzy's dance exposure; Intrigued by a west coast style of dance called 'jerking' Dezzy made a name for his self and soon began teaching his very own classes at Kroncrete Dance Studios Olympia, WA.

Dezzy Yates would soon return to Columbus, GA with a new perception of life with a vision & movement called “PHRESHLIFE”. With this new inspiration the company (Phreshlife LLC) was formed. The company is broken down into two parts which ultimately are Live Entertainment & Fashion Apparel.
