Bio
Peter Trevino released his debut solo album "Freedom" in January 2013, featuring the musical talents of Steve Ferrone (Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers), Rami Jaffee (Foo Fighters, The Wallflowers) and Rodney Grant (American Pearl), and vocal production by Evan Frankfort and Steve Perry.
Mixed at Capitol Records by Niko Bolas, and mastered in Nashville by Richard Dodd, music and lyrics for all ten tracks on the album were written by Trevino. Influences for this album are Steely Dan, The Beatles, Elton John, Supertramp, Billy Joel and The Beach Boys, with melodies rooted firmly in the 1970s, yet clearly produced for the singer-songwriter audience of the new millennium.
He is also the Co-Founder & Chief Financial Officer of the Robert Urich Foundation for Cancer Research and Patient Care (urichfoundation.org), a member of Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, and a former member of The Next Generation Council of the Motion Picture & Television Fund. Mr. Trevino also served as a member of the National Council of Ambassadors for the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation.
Currently a successful songwriter, musician, and music publisher, Mr. Trevino lives in Los Angeles with his husband and family.
