Bio

Pete Jacobs began his songwriting aspirations in the humble Catskill Mountain region of upstate New York. After moving to Boston to attend Berklee College of Music, he found himself striving to find a band that could bring out the best sound in his classic rock and roll influenced songs. After returning home to Stamford, NY for a summer, he connected with Dorsey "Sky" Parker, a New York veteran drummer, well versed in funk music, who was curious to explore his abilities in rock. They quickly formed Pete Jacobs band in the summer of 2010 and subsequently recorded "Thoughts Upon A Window" together. Pete returned to Berklee in the fall on the prowl for other members to complete the band. While producing and recording a band called Nature In The City, Pete met Andre Vasconcelos, a guitar player from Brazil, and he was overwhelmed by Andre's guitar and vocal abilities. The two become close friends, and when Nature In The City disbanded, Pete and Andre joined forces. Shortly after, Andre recommended his friend and fellow singer/guitarist from Brazil, Apoena Frota as a bass player. The three met and immediately realized they had stumbled onto a rare opportunity, not often implemented - 3 talented singer/songwriters who could harmonize and play each others instruments, with similar tastes in music, a collaboration reminiscent of the days of The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and The Who. After re-connecting with Dorsey, the band immediately solidified and set out on a mission to make a name for themselves in New York and Boston!
