""PAWS" is the musical noises of three young cubs whom were once part of Glasgow anarchy quartet "A Copenhagen Hope" and "Frances And Her Trampoline"
PAWS consists of a small red panda cub; a polar bear cub and a grizzly bear cub.
Their names are Phillip, Joshua and Matthew.
PAWS are set to release their DEBUT SINGLE "Violent Vicky Violet" on June 23rd via Adam Stafford's home grown record label "WISE BLOOD INDUSTRIES". Home to bands such as Stafford's own "Ya'll Is Fantasy Island" and "Size Of Kansas"
A side "Violent Vicky Violet" and B side "Kim Deal" will be available for FREE download on the WISE BLOOD INDUSTRIES website: http://www.wisebloodindustries.com/
"Violent Vicky Violet" tells the tale of a young girl sporting some dungarees on a path of seemingly innocent destruction to the smaller world around her.
Where as "Kim Deal" simply expresses the bands fondness for the Breeders front lady/Pixies main lady.
PAWS live show blends the dynamics of that of a kitten and a grizzly bear.

The band have a number of notable shows in the pipeline including a support with DUM DUM GIRLS of SUB POP RECORODS, a supprot slot with new NME favourites THE SMITH WESTERNS aswell as dates at major clubnights in Edinburgh and Aberdeen - THIS IS MUSIC & DIRTY HEARTS CLUB
PAWS may appeal to those who are/were fans of - "bratty American lo-fi guitar rock music from the 90's"- A sound perhaps associated with labels such as Matador and K Records."
