PATjE French singer, who in 2009 got the Latino audience’s attention in the US with "Gogo", has momentarily left Los Angeles to Europe, where he shot a Paris version of his Latin hit.
The "Gogo" band accosted the Seine shore in May just in time for a Flashmob immortalized on a new music video. After a productive 2009, the US, where TV shows have succeeded radio performances, the favorite French performer to the DJ Latinos goes to France and Switzerland to promote his hit. "The Flashmob in Paris brings back very good memories," says PATjE. We left - with all the necessary authorizations, he says - yet bold with two cameras we captured some great moments. The clip has been seen by more than 358,000 views on YouTube ...
A remix version was released in 2010 but there is not that "Gogo" in the life of Patje which is also promoting "QUEDATE", another song from his album PASAPORTE.
The Swiss-born singer grew up in Marseille and settled on the West coast for ten years. He released his first album in 2004, Evasion, targeted to his French audience. But it is with his hit song in Spanish - which is has versions in English - that PATjE met his first big success.
While waiting to enter the U.S. for gigs in clubs in Los Angeles, PATjE is seeing the results of GOGO Paris and Geneva where he will be in concert at the Theatre Alchimic in October. And the best goes on.

PATjE
Born in Marseilles, France, to a French father and a Spanish mother, singer/songwriter Patje performs a contemporary mambo reminiscent of Lou Bega. His music's happy-go-lucky rhythm and strong brass accents are a definite departure from what's typically heard on tropical radio. And it's finding a spot on the charts: "GOGO, " the first single from PATjE's album "Pasaporte" is No 38 on Billboard's Tropical Songs chart.
Pasaporte wil be released Oct. 6 on PATjE's own label, Patje SARL, and a national distribution deal is currently being negociated with an indie distributor. PATjE is handled and promoted by MS Music Promotion, the indie company/label launched by former Unviswision Records radio executive Silvestro Perrina, who met PATjE through former Univision marketing VP Lupe de la Cruz, De la Curz, who know PATjE through a mutual friend, urged the artist to record predominantly in Spanish (French and English are also in the mix) and to change "GOGO" from a bilingual track to Spanish /only fofr a better shot at airplay. PATjE will begin a media tour later this month. - Billboard Magazine August 29, 2009

Influenced by the growth of singer songwriters from all kinds of genre, he builds his own style from soul, funk and Brazilian rhythms.
Born in Switzerland of French, Swiss and Spanish origin, he is the fourth of five children. He was raised between Marseille, Barcelona and Geneva. His very first experience in entertainment was music and acting thanks to his brothers, and then theater, for which, he grew to become passionate as of age fourteen.
After his high school diploma he did his Bachelors abroad at that time his friends gave him the nickname PATJE (little Pat).
Returning back to Europe, he worked in advertising and became the editor of a magazine. He left this firm and moved to Barcelona, Spain, in order to study at university, but music and his love for entertainment came back into his life…
He decided to pursue this growing passion in Los Angeles. He discovered facets of himself and started growing and gathering popularity in this environment.
In 2002 he started playing with his band in many clubs around Los Angeles and released his first single. On stage he started singing in French, English and Spanish.
He began a new journey with his friend Ioannis; with him he played between Bora Bora and Paris. It was with Ioannis that he was the opening act for Jeanne Mas. This show took place at the Trianon in Paris.
2008 enabled him to prepare a new project.
Today he is launching Pasaporte, his new album; available online.
