Page Foster entered, without difficulty, in my top 3 discoveries of 2010, and her debut album "Where and When” first released in July 2010 is definitely on my list of my favorite albums... A beautiful voice, a beautiful pen, simple compositions without being repetitive, Page Foster is simply magical. - Listen See Feel

Pessimists would say that it is hopeless. A young woman from Minneapolis, near the great lakes in the northern United States sets off for New York to try her luck there. In the luggage only her voice and a guitar. Page Foster is trying to convince the world that she is not just any singer-songwriter, but that her music sounds unique. That it is worth it, just to hear her sing, even though you do not know her name. So what does Page Foster have to offer?
The answer is ten beguiling songs on her debut album "When And Where" that derive their strength from Foster's tender and melancholy, as well as agile, playful voice. A pleasant sadness lies in the songs, which carries a lot more composure than suffering in itself. Stylistically, they dominate the Blues, celebrate the folk - and dare yet to integrate harmoniously bold arrangements, with the gentle background chorus on "Let Me Go" or the spherical cello dissonances in "Water Colors". However, the few supporting instruments are precise and deliberately chosen. Page Foster has produced a debut that goes directly into the soul. Optimists would say: This must be her breakthrough. - Passau Neue Presse

Bio
Page Foster was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and was inclined towards singing her whole life. It wasn't until she attended the Music Conservatory at the State University of New York at Purchase that she started pursuing writing and performing her songs. After graduating in 2009, she moved to Brooklyn for a year to further engage in a music career (performing her set at local bars, working as a backup vocalist for hire, and recording her first album). Page is currently adventuring out in the big wide world (yes, there is a world outside of new york! *gasp*), following wherever her heart leads her. Keep your ears open for a surprise visit to your neck of the woods!
