Bio

Founded in 2013 under their previous name, Guilty Pleasure, Pacific Estate is a four-piece rock band from Burlington Ontario. The group strives to put on high energy shows featuring glimpses of their strong grunge, alternative rock, and punk influences.

The band has released three self-produced EP's and Singles out of their home studio over the past 4 years (Guilty Pleasure, Second Chances, Say Hello to Heaven) which are currently available on all streaming platforms. Upon coincidently connecting with Juno nominated producer Julius "Juice" Buddy (City and Colour, Alexisonfire, Protest the Hero) after he happened to catch the groups set at Burlington's Sound of Music Festival in 2015, the band has shifted its focus to writing and recording in hopes of signing their entry record deal in 2019.

In the summer of 2018, the band was invited to be the first group to record at Butty's new recording studio (Arc Recording Studio) which had been in construction since the two parties met in 2015. The band crafted a 4-song EP over a total of 175 hours, which is being held from public music stores in hopes of completing a full album in the months to come under a record label.

Pacific Estate has gained traction in Southern Ontario through consistent gigging. Most notably, the band has performed with bigger Canadian rock groups such as Hollerado and Ivory Hours (2018), as well as at the Burlington's Sound of Music Main Stage (2015), Supercrawl Music Festival, and Burly Calling Music Festival. In addition, Pacific Estate has sold out small venue bar shows in Burlington, Hamilton, Toronto, Kingston, and Ottawa over the past two years. This past summer, the lads were able to get over 200 people out for their "Zochella" event at Boston Manor in Burlington, an event held in memory of a friend who was killed by a drunk driver earlier that year, and were able to raise $1500 for MADD Canada.
