Hang Sessions- based around the instrument called the Hang a metal upside down wok or flying saucer that sounds similar to a steel drum. The CD was designed for a Yoga workout so it goes from a meditative state to an active groove and back down again

A new CD will be released this Dec. And it is much more Lounge in its feel, Latin & Reggae Dub Grooves as well as cross breeded with India and layered with electronics

OUTHOUSE explores ambient worlds where the organic meets the electronic. Using loops, beats and processed textures as a base and layering in worldly percussion and melodies OUTHOUSE creates rich environments of sound & groove that can be utilized in a number of ways.(relaxation, mood, yoga, meditation, tantra) Focusing on Downtempo Dub, & Chillout varieties of electronica and cross pollinating them with World music and Urban rhythms gives the band a wide varieties colors and textures to build their universe.
Mark Rechler is a Long Island Musician who has done music for Animal Planet, Discovery Planet, TLC, MTV & VH1 and plays in the 10 Year Old Funk outfit Circus Mind that has completed two great CD’s. An architect, artist and songwriter Mark takes a spatial & Textural approach to music and songwriting. Mark has worked with members of the Neville Brothers, Soulive, Groove Collective, Rebirth Brass Band and Bob Marly’s Wailers.
George Hooks a Tennessee transplant played drums for Ringling Bros for 11 years. George a Ziljian sponsored drummer is currently a Drum Circle master working on Retreats, Team Building and camps for sick children. George plays in a number of Jazz & Rock projects including Circus Mind with Mark and is a top requested drummer on the Brooklyn jewish scene.
Outhouse’s Live show can be as simple as Mark on Laptop and Keyboard, Mark & George together or often as an expanded band with brass, percussion, and other instruments.
