As the title indicates, this is the second EP from rockers Oscar Tango, recorded at the Dreamhouse studio in the alley behind the Horseshoe Tavern.. They impressed with their self-titled 2011 debut EP, produced by Nick DeToro (Sloan, Luke Doucet) and enlisted Crispin Day for this one. Led by singer Ryan Farley (ex-Mermen Attack), the quartet has a vigorous power-pop sound, citing influences as
diverse as Thin Lizzy, the Beatles and Joe Jackson. One can hear strains of the same on "All Around The City" and "Lost My Mind". The band launch the disc with a gig at The Hideout tonight, Jan. 25, in Toronto. Two tracks available as free downloads here.

Bio
Originally from Vancouver Island, Oscar Tango is an electric guitar wielding Rock & Roll band now based in the city of Toronto. The four band mates have been shaking down the Toronto music scene in various groups for the last few years, but suddenly Oscar Tango was hatched in the winter of 2010, when they dropped their infectious power pop anthems on an unsuspecting packed house at the Silver Dollar.
In the short time they have been a band, Oscar Tango have already played Canadian Music Fest 2012, Indie Week Canada 2012, International Pop Overthrow Toronto 2011,2012 and maintained a weekly gig at The Port in Toronto for 4 months in the fall of 2011. They continue to pack local clubs all over Toronto.
In the summer of 2011, they recorded their first EP with legendary rock producer Nick DeToro, who has created records with Sloan and Luke Doucette, and has also toured with the Trews, Big Sugar and other Can-Rock giants. In fall 2012 they released a 7 inch record produced by Crispin Day of the Dreamhouse Studio.
Their records blast out of stereo speakers like a bolt of lightning, reminding listeners of a modern take on Joe Jackson, Thin Lizzy and the Beatles. Fronted by ex-Mermen Attack singer Ryan Farley, their razor sharp three part harmonies will leave any concertgoer guaranteed to be singing Oscar Tango songs the next morning. Every night, bassist Jeff Carter, lead guitarist Tristan Clark, and drummer Trevor Falls throw their energy into their anthemic vignettes about life and all its euphoria, lust and vices. Oscar Tango is currently working on a full-length album, and touring to support their EP, look for them at a rock-stop in your town!
