Operative Me was founded as ska based side project named "Ghost Pirates" in 2007 by Josh, Kyle, and Brett as they were steadily working with other bands in the process. Josh with his band (with Chris), and Brett and Kyle respectively with theirs.
Upon Chris' entrance to the group as the new bassist, the band name changed, but the philosophy stayed the same. "Music for us, for them" with one goal in mind..keep as much creative doors open as possible, make great music, and have as much fun as possible.
2009-2011 were great years for shows spanning Palm Beach and surrounding areas as they raised funds to go into the studio in 2010 to record the Operative Me demo.
