Bio
Olentangy John is a Brooklyn based, Ohio bred songwriter and musician. He plays several instruments and his sound ranges from Old Timey string band sounds from the turn of the last century to evocative new arrangements of original songs.
He is the winner of the the 2007 Williamsburg (Brooklyn) Live Songwriter Competition.
His songs evoke a sense of history, longing and the persistent change of time. From narrative songs of failed born agains to sketches of daily confusions and joys of an American artist.
