Solom'n

Ivan Nicholas Holt, better known as Solom’n, was born in Pomona, CA but raised in Fort Worth, TX. As a child, he was not allowed to listen to secular music, being that his family was very religious, but he would always find ways to listen to it. His love for Hip Hop continued through high school but it wasn’t until the summer after he graduated that he began rapping himself.

At the time when he began his hip hop career, Solom’n was into Gospel Hip Hop. After a 2 year hiatus, he began developing a new sound that became of mix of the spoken word and rap. Now with a new mission and a journey to take, Solom’n took his new found inspiration, Intellectual Hip Hop, and brought it all to his audiences around the world.

Solom’n has played all around Texas including the Brownwood, Texas Reunion in from of over 2000 attendees. He has also performed at large public venues like Six Flags Over Texas and colleges such as Howard Payne University. He has had a #1 single, topping KJ-52’s “Dear Slim Pt. 2” on Rapzilla.com and has opened and performed alongside prestigious hip hop artist such as Lecrae, Tedashii and Trip Lee to contemporary artist such as The Afters and Monk and Neagle.

Solom’n now resides in Arlington, Texas with his wife and two boys. Along with being a solo artist, he is also Founder, President, CEO and Manager of Ghetto Saint LLC which he started and has been successfully running since February 2009. The main goal of Ghetto Saint is to offer artist an executive partnership to assist them in the realization of their dreams while promoting a message of Encouragement, Inspiration, and Empowerment.
