This line up consists of very seasoned musicians that have played styles of music in various bands. The sound we have can be compared to other great Seattle bands such as Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Queensryche to name a few. The vocal ability of Dane Larson can mirror these front men along with his own style and tone, makes him stand out in any live show as a powerhouse. The rhythm section has percusion work from Dean Katona the resembles Neil Peart and Matt Cameron with his own funk type spin. On Bass Will Riddle brings Geezer Butler and Cliff Burton type riffs with awesome use of effects and tone that makes hairs stand up on the neck! Guitar performance of John Stewart has powerful groove based riffs found in Alice in Chains ( John used to play with Layne in Sleeze ) with undertones of Black Sabbath and Van Halen type lead guitar work. Oceans and Enemies certainly has a powerful sound of their own that draws respect and admiration from listeners and other musicians. Our aim....to rock and entertain!
