Bio
Oceanic is a versatile indie pop band based in Lynchburg, Virginia. Heavily influenced by a number of genres, they aim to create original music with diversity that lets enables the listener to see the world in a different light.
The band is comprised of four members: Nathan, Jacob, Jon, and Sam. Nathan is the lyricist and lead singer, Jacob sets the mood with electric guitar, Jon hits drums (hard), and Sam plays bass; all members contribute ideas and personality to the arrangement.
Currently recording at Gat3 Studio, the band is intent on releasing their original five-song EP in the summer of 2018. After completing a Kickstarter Campaign in January, the band has been zealously recording and preparing to tour the record, called “Chimera.”
In a live setting, each member is well-versed in performing, even before Oceanic was founded. During shows, the members work together to create a high-enthusiasm experience with countless moments of personality and musical interest.
