“Music has no substance right now”, says the confident Indianapolis native. “The bar needs to be raised; a creative standard must be set, in music. I pray that real quality, in my music ministry, shines through and leaves a dramatic impact on every listener.”
Nue Breed is an artist that has come up in the maturity that Christ has molded him in. Strictly believing in ministry first and music second, Benjamin Ryan Farr, (aka Nue Breed) was born and raised in Indianapolis, IN; to parents, Pastor Bruce and Loretta Farr. Rapping and writing music was a true gift from God, which flourished at the age of seven. Years later, he and two close friends formed a group called C.O. R.P 1 (Christ Our Righteous Praise). The group ministered at Indy Youth Fest and appeared twice at the Holy Hip Hop Awards! They were also fortunate enough to minister with great groups like, Mary Mary, Cross Movement, Irocc, Mr. Dell, Pettidee, KJ52 and many more. But soon after releasing the national debut album, “Tha Bizzness”, the group was cut short because of spiritual immaturity. Later, after a life of smoking, drinking and trying to fit in with the hustler lifestyle, Nue Breed no longer wanted to run from his destiny. Now back, better than ever, he realizes that music is a very powerful art, which attracts people of all ages, color and languages. He plans to spread the gospel, which is the truth, through his rap ministry!
Propelled by the hit singles “SHOW-HIM-WUT-U-DOIN-WIT-IT” and “STAND-OUT”, Nue Breed will do nothing short of redefining Gospel Rap for 2008 ad beyond!
MISSION STATEMENT
My aim is to reel in the lost, blind and naked to Jesus Christ!
Matthew 4:19 – describes how Jesus found the fishermen fishing. Then he instructed them to drop their nets so he could make them fishers of men. That’s what I am; a fisher of men and women, young and old. The rap and banging beats is my bait to reel in souls for the KINGDOM! Generally, in today’s society, rap draws people, especially the youth. Our generation is constantly looking for something or someone, to follow. So through this rap ministry, God has called me to lead and bring change in this dying, wicked, perverse generation! I’m here to standout and impact the music industry, period, by presenting the TRUTH and the Word of GOD, like it’s never been heard!
Why the name Nue Breed?
I’m a NEW CREATURE in Christ! 2 Corinthians 5:17 – says if ANY man be in Christ he’s a new creature. Old things are in the past and all things, now, are new! Since I have a new perspective on life, which is eternity, I now have a NEW HEART, a NEW MIND and a NEW WAY OF LIVING! Now I’m a NUE BREED!
