Remember when punk was rad and the alternative rock scene was filled with skateboarders and punks with attitude and diy guts and glory? Well, yeah we do too and that’s the manic punk of Nuclear Tourism. Nuclear Tourism is a surf punk band that brings fresh life to alternative rock. They are an up and coming group of college kids from Athens, Georgia who got together at Nuçi’s Space Camp Amped a few years ago and have since played dates all around the country. Nuclear Tourism combines elements of California punk bands such as Bass Drum of Death, the Frights, and other influences like the White Stripes and the Ramones. It’s raw, it’s real and yes… it’s nuclear.
