"As soon as I saw this album cover I just had to click on it. I had to see what ‘She Lives In New York’ is all about. From what I can hear, it’s pretty accurate. No Stories wrote the epitome of the New York transplant girl. We all know her. The girl who wears the shirts of bands she’s never heard, the girl who with the “die young” attitude. You see her on every corner, at every bar, she’s there. I really got a kick out of this and not only that, I really enjoyed it. There is something about good pop music that my ears love, no matter what, I can’t pass it up. I need it to thrive and thank goodness for No Stories." @LeahDingus - Dingus
"...these 4 musicians invited the audience to dance, jump and nod their head from start to finish. Pleasant melodies accompanied by distorted guitars, powerful drums and a deep garage essence, they reminded us of the classic sounds of indie garage rock, like The Strokes and The Libertines, and current garage revival bands like Japandroids , Bleached or Cloud Nothings. Their dirty but impeccably performed sound is a highlight. " (Translated)

"...estos 4 músicos invitaron al público a bailar, saltar y mover la cabeza de principio a fin. Melodías agradables acompañadas de guitarras distorsionadas, batería potente y con una profunda esencia garage, nos recordaron a sonidos clásicos del indie garage rock, como The Strokes o The Libertines y bandas de revival garage actual como Japandroids, Bleached o Cloud Nothings. Se destaca su sonido sucio pero impecable a la hora de ser ejecutado." - Radionica
"This Bogotá trio, formed in 2013, is influenced by the simple melodies, catchy choruses and chord progressions of groups that marked the decade of the 60s like The Beatles and The Beach Boys. Nevertheless, their sound in general terms is closer to the "garage" wave of The Strokes and The Libertines" (Translated)

"It always has been and always will be about the feeling you get when you hear a great melody. That’s what No Stories is for me. Pure Fun." - Indie Interluded

Bio
No Stories is an indie garage pop band formed in Bogotá by Gabe Silva—a Colombian singer/guitarist who grew up in the East Coast U.S. in a haunted house full of old rock & roll records. Combining his love of ‘60s pop, ‘70s punk and the garage rock revival of the early 2000s with an outsider’s twist, the band’s sound has been described as “vintage and fresh at the same time” and “dirty but impeccable.” They have released two EPs; Home (2014) and Let's Get Away (2016), as well as the singles Just A Mirage (2017), Embrujado (2018) and Weekends (2019). They are currently finishing their debut full-length album, Better Days (2020).
