Norman Taylor is a Singer/songwriter/acoustic performer from the South jersey/Philadelphia area. His style is rooted in the country blues of people like Robert Johnson and Skip James, and contemporary acoustic blues men like Keb Mo, Eric Bibb and Guy Davis. Norman also draws influence from country, 70's rock, soul, gospel and a variety of musical forms.. Taylor has also been an opening act for blues man Guy Davis, Singers-Songwriter Phil Roy, Pat Wictor ,Chris Smithers and Marcia Ball. In addition to these openers Norman has also played festivals such as Camp Jam in the Pines where he played on the same night as Ronnie Baker Brooks,and the State Street Blues Stroll in Media PA where he performed on the same bill as Rory Block, Lonnie Shields, and Sharrie Williams. Norman has also played the Roots Ramble Festival in Media PA
