"The Seedy Seeds//No No Knots//Me & Mountains-TONIGHT @ Blind Bob’s"

"...sophistication and discipline that renders their debut EP Quiet to the Night an excellent electro-pop confection recalling The Cardigans and Yeah Yeah Yeahs" - The Buddha Den

"No No Knots - "The Window""

"The Window" sizzles with pert and perky melodies delivered with dueling synths, tense guitar hooks, and Andrews Sisters-style vocals. It's a pop sugar speedball mainlined via a candy-coated syringe. - QRO Magazine

"No No Knots"

"What sets No No Knots apart are their uniquely creative rhythms and the powerful vocals/lyrics of front woman Molly Sullivan, whom at times seems a bit reminiscent of 'Blondie'" - Sounds in Waves

"Cincinnati's No No Knots Look To Join The Ranks Of 2010'S Exciting Breakouts"

"One of the most promising new acts of 2010...the group bring some obvious and some understated dance songs with glitchy synths, power pop dashes, post-punk, and a knack for a catchy tune in their small arsenal of songs thus far with vocalist Molly Sullivan having some tinges of Karen O to her sharp delivery"
written by Danny Perkins - The Milk Carton

"MPMF10 Thursday: All the Ladies in the House"

The Knots’ in-your-face Synth Rock tunes make for a Clap Your Hands Say Yeah!/Radiohead lovechild to die for. With dreamy melodies met with explosive vocals and a saxophone to boot, the Knots boast the ability to effortlessly blend creative improvisation into their rehearsed pieces that sets precedence for other Cincinnati live acts to aspire to. - CityBeat

"Songs from Daniele's iPod: No No Knots and more"

This stuff is good, and Cincinnati has it all to themselves -- for now. It's dance, electro-rock, and it will make you happy. - Metromix Cincinnati

"Midpoint Music Festival Guide"

"Frontwoman Molly Sullivan’s versatile delivery ducks and weaves around unpredictable arrangements that seem simultaneously space-age and Classical"
- CityBeat

"No No Knots (Profile)"

Call it Indie Rock or noisy Post Punk, but from Disco to carnival-style Electronic sounds, these tunes catapult into dirty Rock. - CityBeat

"Clifton Heights Music Festival"

A band you definitely need to keep an ear and eye out for, No No Knots takes every preconception of indie rock and shakes it up with classically trained virtuosos working together to really highlight front woman Molly Sullivan’s sexy serenading. - The News Record

"Cincinnati electro-rock band No No Knots invade Northside Tavern..."

Full of synth twists and turns, interlaced with pop danceable grooves, the No No Knots take their sound to the next level...in a very artistic, experimental, sexy and danceable way that appeals to the emotional side of music. - The Noble Visions

"Meet the band: No No Knots"

Their eclectic approach to melody-making no doubt can be attributed to the varied musical backgrounds of the members who received training in jazz and classical music at UC’s College Conservatory of Music. - Metromix Cincinnati

"Are the No No Knots Long for This World?"

All that classical training manifests itself in a sound that is angular and tight and clattering under the robust pipes of 22-year-old singer Molly Sullivan - Cincinnati Magazine

Bio

Over the past year, No No Knots has won over listeners with their eccentric arrangements, glitchy synths and turbulent rhythms. The band's unique sound is the result of conservatory training - most of its members hail from Cincinnati's College-Conservatory of Music – combined with diverse influences and frontwoman Molly Sullivan's powerful delivery. A single listen and one can understand why CityBeat described the Knots as "simultaneously space-age and Classical."

- Opened for Shonen Knife at the 2010 Midpoint Music Festival
