No Compromise

A new gospel rap group, No Compromise, has recently released their debut album entitled “True Identity” distributed by Central South Distribution. With their chest thumping beats, biblically infused easy to understand lyrics, life-changing messages, and eye catching stage presence, No Compromise has what it takes to bridge the generational gap in the world today.

In a world where the media is having more of a negative impact on the lives of people, No Compromise is on a mission to give people a positive message of hope through the album, “True Identity”. Although many people of various age, race, and gender have not received gospel rap in general, No Compromise’s album has had a tremendous effect on everyone that they encounter. The youth are drawn to No Compromise’s music because of their electrifying, head nodding beats, and for the young at heart, their perception of gospel rap has changed based on the clarity of No Compromise’s lyrics. After opening up for the nationally known Christian band, Big Daddy Weave, No Compromise was shortly approached by an excited lady at their product table. “ I never liked rap music or gospel rap because I couldn't understand what they were saying, but I can understand what ya’ll are saying”, stated the elderly lady. “I loved your music and I want two CDs for me and my grandchildren,” she continues on to say as she searches through her purse for the money. This is just one of many stories of the ministry of No Compromise, where the youth and young at heart actually enjoys the same music.

No Compromise is currently working on their second album entitled “Christyle” which consists of songs like “I Won't Compromise featuring the Grammy nominated gospel artist Canton Jones”, “Put Your Bibles Up”, "Sway Wit It", "Party Over Here" which are some of the great songs on the Christyle project. "Christyle" means living independent of the worlds system and taking dominion over it.

In the year 2001, No Compromise was birthed out of the hearts of Demetrius Sheppard, Jonathan Pepper and Christopher Pepper. Together they formed the gospel rap group No Compromise, which continues to minister throughout the states at various churches, schools, colleges, prisons, and Christian events, as well as some secular events. The group is known for its scriptural infused and accurate lyrics and its ability to minister the Word of God with simplicity and understanding to individuals of all backgrounds. After ministering for several years as an individual group, the visionaries recognized their need to expand their impact potential by rallying other music ministers with similar purposes of creating Bible-infused Christian music. As a result, No Compromise Entertainment™ was created.

The three visionaries are all members of The Bridge Church International (in Columbus, GA) under the leadership of Pastors Vince Allen and Chris Mitchell. In addition to the music ministers, the three visionaries are the primary leaders of the children and teen ministry at The Bridge Church International where they still focus on promoting lives of “no compromise” and transforming the lives of the youth through mind-renewal teaching of the Word of God.
