Bio
Nick Kraenzlin is one of the most travelled musicians the Waikato has to offer. Germany, Saipan, Guam, Tonga, Wales, and the USA have all been home at some point for this singer-songwriter. Nick has carried on the musical tradition of his family, which spans three generations of musicians by pursuing tertiary music studies at Hamilton's Vision College, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree majoring in voice and songwriting. He continued his music studies at the Waikato Institute of Technology, where he recently graduated from the Master of Arts degree. Formerly of Waikato band “Eshalon”, Nick is now pursuing a solo career with an all-new line-up featuring Brendon Rickard (drums), Jason Henderson (electric gat), Brett Wilson (electric gat/keys), Jesse Te Weehi (keys), Jon Clark (bass), and wife Amanda Kraenzlin (vocals). The band are poised to release their debut record Wait for the Morning, which features an overhaul of “Spring” featured on Youtube. With a broad background in contrasting cultures and diverse fields, the Nick Kraenzlin Band’s music is characterized by a diverse approach to expressing music. Their performances are marked by their lyrical depth, soaring vocals and masterpiece arrangements, which will both entertain and intrigue audiences of all ages and walks of life.
