Talks about who she feels is the future of hip-hop and mentions Nello Luchi 9:52sec into the video.
Ms. Drama sits down with Chrisette Michele to talk about her upcoming album, Let Freedom Reign. She opens up about the importance of family and working with her brother on her recent mixtape, Love Thy Brother. She delves into the album theme and topic and talks about the rock-soul feel that the listeners will get from the album. Chrisette also discusses her evolution as an artist and how she first came into the game as a rapper. She talks about why she didn't rap in front of Jay-Z, and some of the rappers that she has connected with for her album. Finally, she express her thoughts on image, hip-hop and politics, and her upcoming film debut! - Ms Drama TV
I don’t really make a habit of posting music videos on NikeBlog, and I’m not too familiar with this particular emcee, but Nello Luchi does have some pretty serious flow, and dope sneakers are just permeating from the video so I think it’s justified. This is “Got Em” from Nello Luchi’s Breathe In mixtape - www.nikeblog.com
i only met the lovely nello luchi for the first time about a month ago when she came in to pull clothes for her video, but we instantly hit it off. so many girls - artists especially - tend to put up bitchy walls when they first encounter somebody, but she was immediately the type of chick that you just hug when you meet, quite refreshing in this world of tight-asses! on top of that, she only lives a few blocks from me in bed-stuy, and did i mention that she kills it on the mic? total m.o.b, which is why it's an absolute pleasure for me to bring you her latest video for got em, shot right in the motherland of brooklyn! shit is so hot! looking good in that mttm too, i see you! get the track right here! - Tabatha (Married To The Mob Clothing) - Mobliving.com
I came across a young gem out of Brooklyn, New York recently and I’m glad to see a female artist getting acknowledged for her lyrical abilities and not her ass implants or breast implants. This Bed Stuy artist brings us back to the days where female MCs would rock a crowd with their soft voice, expressing real “Hip-notic” lyrics and still receive the same respect if not more than their male counterparts. The Brooklyn Femcee goes by the name Nello Luchi. When you hear Nello Luchi over a track you will almost immediately notice her flow is reminiscent of fellow BK representative and legend, Mc Lyte. But don’t get confused Luchi’s overall style is one in its own. She has the pretty looks but the swag of a Brooklyn bully and the lyrics that can back it up. Nello Luchi is also the cousin of the Grammy Award Winning Def Jam artist Chrisette Michele. You can only expect more from the young up and comer Nello Luchi and we’ll keep you posted.

We love Nicki Minaj, but it seems like since she appeared, people have forgotten there are other females in the game doing their thing. New York’s Nello Luchi is one of them. She relies on her bars to get ahead rather than her breasts. And it works. She’s been building up a following since her mixtape, Breathe In was released last summer. On Get Em she spits over a haunting sample about life in her city and why she’s next in line to the throne. - SBTV.CO.UK

Bio
Janell Smith is considered by many to be one of the most impressionable artist of this time. With a street buzz that is currently getting bigger, she does it all with a gracefulness and ease. With her punch lines, amazing lyrical techniques, and gift for entertaining, Janell is unquestionably a threat to the music world. Unlike most artist and urban music's rap stars, Janell Casaundra Smith also known as Nello Luchi was born to do this. She writes her own songs as well as performs them, and her creative wit is definitely up to par with her stylish demeanor. Janell was born in no other, the city of New York, borough of Brooklyn. She originally started rapping at the age of 11. While some artist rap to become part of the in crowd or to be down, Nello started rapping because of her love for poetry. She also loved hip hop music and began combining the two into something of her own. Janell's inspiration comes from artist such as Jay-Z, Notorious B.I.G., Slick Rick, Mc Lyte, Run DMC, Wu-Tang, as well as many artist of today. Nello brings a youthful, soulful and urban sound/style to the game. Like other artist, Janell uses music to express what she feels and also to have fun. Nello is a very determined person and also a perfectionist. She creates her own hooks for her songs and although she isn't a singer at heart, she executes them to perfection. There is none other like her, she is without a shadow of a doubt bringing something new, fresh and indisputable to the table. Its definitely going to be hard being a female artist in the game, next to the Realest Chick Out. Ms. Janell Casaundra Smith a.k.a Nello Luchi
*NOTE: Nello has been co-signed as the next big emcee by no other than Grammy award winning soul singer Chrisette Michele (Def Jam).
