Bio
My Politic is originally from southern Missouri. The two members, Nick Pankey and Kaston Guffey have been playing music together for six years, have recorded three full length album and haven't even made it to the age of 21. Folk and Americana music have a major influence on the My Politic sound, anywhere from Bob Dylan to Iron and Wine, John Prine, and Simon and Garfunkel. The list goes on and on. Both Kaston and Nick play a variety of intstruments, banjo piano, harmonica, mandolin, and harmony is the key to the sound that My Politic produces. The duo has recently moved to Boston MA to explore new opportunities in the music world.
