Where there is a band, there is a story. My Own Holiday started in a filthy garage, just like any other rock and roll project. Joey Chrisman singer songwriter met Nick Bartolo(drummer) when joining a local FL band "Love she wrote"." After much touring, we were unhappy with certain members and managers and decided to start something new", Bartolo says. Staying true to themselves ,and moving forward. A rock and roll trio was formed.
The band recorded with producer Chris Cosgrove this Nov. 2010, at Engine studios Chicago.
"We wanted to lay it all out on the line. No tricks, just rock and roll and good songs." says Chrisman. The band has since played local shows, and has proven to be one of the best live acts out there.
