Bio
Recorded in June 2010, "Welcome to Antioch" captures The Feel's pure funk rock sound. The band set up in an abandoned theater in the middle of the night and recorded their album in just three days. The Feel! incorporates the right mix of pop, rock, & soul from their motown and rock n' roll idols to bring "Welcome to Antioch".
Started in Southie, Boston in 2009, Lead singer Lech Szczepaniak joined with long-time friend and drummer Dave Joseph to busk in Train stops and public parks in Boston & New York. At the end of the summer, the two left the east coast and headed back home to Chicago. They continued playing as a black-key's like duo until they teamed up with Kyle Langan & Matt Fritsch and started developing a style of music in the fashion of classic soul and R&B. The Feel! played out almost every weekend, playing over 3 hours for most of the gigs, they became the regular house band at blues clubs like The Thirsty Fox and bars throughout Chicago, and built a reputation as a reincarnation of classic rock n' roll with every bottle of Jack Daniels and notorious green room parties. After vigorous showcasing, the band recorded "Welcome to Antioch" in the same live fashion that made them famous in Chicago. The Feel! is the new face of Rock.
