Murph and the blackouts - formed summer of 2009.
Murph - guitar and vocals
Alicia - Drums and vocals
Jack - Bass and vocals
Murph from Numchuck, Alicia from Cinemastereo, and Jack from Dirty Jack and the Hippies, came together to create what is now considered to be the 7th best punk rock band of all time. This highly tuned band spent the first year writing and rehearsing in murph's flea ridden bedroom, until they were discovered by guitarist Everett Connors, who offered to record and produce them. It has been a rollercoaster ride from that moment on. From the CIA (north Hollywood) to La Cita (Downtown LA), from The Puka Bar (long beach) to The 5 Stars (Downtown), the world can't get enough of Murph and the blackouts. With a permanent rehearsal and recording studio in Silverlake, CA, Murph and the Blackouts is looking to record and release their first full length album in late 2010, with a World tour soon to follow.
