mr. PIXIE

While finishing up a degree in music at The University of North Texas in the summer of 2003 Danny Anchondo, a classical violinist/pianist, made a drunken decision to step out of a moving vehicle and altered the course of his life forever. While recovering that summer from a badly broken jaw, Mr. Anchondo turned his back on the classical world and started writing the music that was most true to his heart. Thus was born mr.PIXIE: a rock musician that utilizes his classical training in combination with his passion for folk, jazz, and electronic music. Having spent the better part of the decade playing in bars and small orchestras, mr.PIXIE is hard at work recording his first full length album.
