Motor Honey was formed in 2006 completed their first cd in June 2012. In December 2012 Motor Honey went back into the studio to begin recording songs on their second cd.
Award winning Capstone Film at Madonna University recently selected the band to shoot a music video, which is scheduled to be released in the summer of 2013.
The band is made up of an experienced group of musicians that have toured nationally. They are influenced by a wide range of artists including Ben Harper, Tom Petty, Sonia Dada, Stevie Raye Vaughn, Jimi Hendrix, Patsy Cline, Aretha Franklin, and Frank Zappa....just to name a few.
The band can perform up to 90 minutes of original material and up to 5 hours of cover songs. Blues/rock mixed with a little funky soul is what they love to do most.
