MOR (the band)

Mor's founding members Molly and Rosana are in some ways the odd couple but their common desire for perfection drives them to think out of the box and create songs and sounds that break the traditional singer-songwriter molds. Both are multi-instrumentalists, making their live performances dynamic. They perform both quieter acoustic sets for small venues, and full sets with drums, keyboards, and electric guitars for larger venues.

Molly and Rosana met while attending college at Berklee College of Music. They worked together on several projects while living in Boston but eventually moved to separate cities. Molly traveled the world as a performer doing everything; singing the National Anthem at MLB baseball games, performing around the world, and even opening for Jay Leno. Rosana spent time working at the legendary Circle House Studios in Miami where she learned the ins-and-outs of recording by assisting in sessions for Grammy winning musicians and audio engineers.

Eventually, they both moved to New York City where they began to develop a repertoire ultimately deciding to work together in their first EP, Just a Dream under the name "Molly and Rosana" but later shortened their name to create "Mor". All instruments were performed, recorded, and mixed by the duo in their home production studio.
