Moriath produced their first self-titled album in 2009, followed by their second release titled “The Green Fields of Glentown” in 2011. Both recordings are available online and at all performances.

Influenced by legendary groups such as the Chieftains, The Bothy Band, and Dervish as well as solo figures like Natalie MacMaster and Liz Carroll, it is easy to see their touch on Moriath’s music. Moriath’s versatility is a feature that separates them from other groups. Whether the venue is a pub or festival stage sets no limits on Moriath’s capability in becoming the crowd favourite. It is clear to see that Moriath makes and performs music for the joy of the audience as well as their own.
