BIOGRAPHY:
Moirai Band (MB) is a different band with many talented individuals. How was it formed? Galaxy the vocalist/bassist/song writer was taken by the idea of being in a band in mid 2008 after being a Chicago DJ for 8 years and a music producer. She decided to audition for a rock band and has always enjoyed singing. Galaxy won the audition, but wanted more commitment from her band mates. She left the band and formed Moirai Band, which now includes Will the guitarist/keyboardist, and Erin the Drummer. All band mates are good friends, and together they create music inspired from their experiences.
Their sound is very different, yet some compare it to a clash of the following artists:
Paramore, Silversun Pickups, Evanescence, Fiona Apple, Fly Leaf
During year 2009 they were interviewed by Skratch Magazine and appeared on their Vol 49 compilation. In 2012, Moirai Band's music was featured at the Epic Center Music Festival.
Moirai Band recorded an album in 2012 and has started booking shows to pre-release the album for 2013.
