Something different, yet accessible. Mog's songs are mostly alternative rock, with a pop twist.
It's a modern style in which melody is king. Mog's songs are evocative and edgy, featuring a unique blend of angst, wit and insight.

Mog was a finalist winner in the International Songwriting Competition in both 2007 and 2008 - to quote the New York Times, this "is the songwriting competition to take note of".
Bright White Teeth is played on Australia's nationwide Triple J radio network, who've praised "the power of the driving verses and catastrophically catchy chorus" proclaiming "it's an anthem".

Bright White Teeth was again recently praised by JJJ for its "classic indie rock sound and structure that echoes early REM". Mog was also a featured artist on JJJ's Unearthed podcast during which Caz Tran commented: "this fella knows how to put a song together; the structure is very defined and the singing is purposeful - Mog is a guy who's got stuff to say".
In early 2012 Triple J's 'The Good Doctor' described All Good as a "bloody lovely song".
In 2011 RiotACT said they "can't get enough of this old school indie rock - five stars".
Mog's first album "Perfect Unreality" was described as a fine collection of tales (BMA), while his follow up album "Nine" was released in 2009 to critical acclaim - "great album (and) mix of sounds and subjects, criticism and generosity" (Seeing Eye).
His second album "Seldom Seen" was released in September 2010 and attracted plenty of attention with two of its songs winning songwriting competitions.
Mog then released an EP, "Faux", in May 2012 which spawned one song that won a song contest.
Mog's new album, "Travel Light", is due for release in August 2014.
Mog has now written a lot of songs, with many more tunes in the making.
The future? Mog will keep writing and playing good songs - watch this space...
