Minor Coles: An Architecture student, a copper, a politician and a beard with glasses.
It has been a whole year since we all huddled for warmth, pint in hand, under the dull glow of an outdoor heater in one of Oxfords many charming pubs. On a chilly October night we culminated our diverse musical backgrounds, musings and energy and formed Minor Coles.
Our influences are huge, ranging from Santana to Death cab for cutie to Rachmaninoff. We believe that all music plays influence on us. We have been likened to bands such as British sea power, Broken social scene and Deathcab; though humbled, we believe that our music is unique, and crafted with great passion.
