"Mindy Hester plunders the melodies of famous songs to create clever parodies. The title track sends up Neil Young; a Bon Jovi hit celebrates newly mobile toddlers; a Johnny Cash riff becomes a song about crayons. Lots of fun for rock-savvy parents." - Conde Nast Publications
"C'mon, you have to love the title of this CD- that seamlessly melds pertinent kiddie lyrics into classic rock tunes." - John Wood-Parenthood.com

"My influences are as wide as my personal musical tastes. I dream to create music that blends real rock & roll and pop music with the salt and spirit of Jim Henson, the wild abandon of Iggy Pop, the playful spirit and integrity of "Jack's Big Music Show" and the pulse pounding excitement of a Super Monster Truck-Pull. My favorite children's musical acts include The Dirty Sock Funtime Band, Ralph Covert, Justin Roberts, Laurie Berkner, TMBG."
