Mime Game

Mime Game is a music focused project that takes the best elements of a myriad of different styles in popular music and creates a landscape from them, fueled by good times and a whole lot of love.
Since its inception in Kansas in 2006 as the side-project of Dillon DeVoe during his time in Josephine Collective (Warner Bros.), Mime Game has steadily grown into the bludgeoning four-piece that it is today.

The group consists of the alchemist; Dalton Gomez; whose incendiary guitar playing peppers their records & live performances with soulful, sonic bliss while frontman; Dillon DeVoe; pulls listeners into another realm of uninhibited bliss. All of this transcendence is punctuated by the smooth, clean bass-lines of Chris Bradley, and the roaring thunder of percussive force that is Duncan Burnett.

The band play live shows with such a ferocious energy that even the stand-offish stand up and dance. Their records are full of clean lines and ingenuity in their delivery. The themes that are portrayed in their music run the gamut from easy to digest to heartbreaking.

They find themselves influenced by the likes of 90's and 00's alt/rock and pop/punk but most notably identify with current bands such as Cage the Elephant, Manchester Orchestra or Ok Go.

To be most honest, Mime Game is a band for those who hope to unlock the secrets of life, as they ask you along on their journey to do just the same.
